When I was a kid, we lived in a larger city than Tallahassee (Hollywood, FL) and frequented a farmer’s market named Ludwig’s. It made me feel like it was a small country town for just a brief moment. Here, we have Tomatoland, located on Thomasville road near the soon-to-be Whole Foods, which I hope will not put this market in jeopardy. I do feel as if enough people are loyal to this little place; it’s always super crowded, especially on weekends.

growing up we had a super great place called the produce barn…i loved going there with my mom. i’d get an orange with a “fat peel” navel orange lol…and a pickle from the barrel!
