True beauty

I had a long, arduous day and once the kids were in bed, I decided to sit out on the front porch and just be. Though it was a little warm, the sky was so beautiful, I sat there a good solid ten minutes just listening and thinking. I saw a few birds, swatted three mosquitoes, and saw one fluttery bat overhead. I scoped for fireflies but it’s still a little early for those. But the sky… oh, the sky.
