Wildlife – off the beaten path

The family and I decided to forego TV on  Sunday morning and head to Tom Brown park to walk the trails. We usually embark upon the bike trail better known as the Cadillac (trail), because it is steep and rooty and has some fun climbs. Being almost 27 weeks pregnant, it was certainly a hike for me. I love that even in a relatively urban city, we still have pockets of  wild nature such as this. Pictured below, some tiny mushrooms growing at the base of a bike obstacle.
